Valiant Petroleum plc is an independent oil & gas company formed in 2004 with a strategy of building a diverse portfolio of development, appraisal and exploration assets primarily focused in the under-exploited UK northern North Sea.

 

Valiant’s core asset base is located in Quadrants 211 and 9 in the northern North Sea which cover its key production and development assets including West Don, Don Southwest, Crawford and Causeway. Valiant has also recently expanded its acreage position into the West of Shetland and central North Sea through awards in the 25^th UK Offshore Licensing Round.

Valiant’s strategy remains concentrated on delivering reserves and production growth through a combination of short-to-medium term developments and a balanced risk/reward approach towards exploration.

Valiant has assembled a highly experienced team combining strong technical expertise with financial and transactional knowledge of the oil and gas sector gained in various companies and jurisdictions.

 

Valiant listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange on 13 March 2008 under the ticker symbol VPP.
